Public Procurement Associate

NQ-5 PQE

Salary

Attractive Salary + Benefits

Location

Flexible location - could be largely remote

This is a very flexible role working closely with an extremely highly regarded partner and team who focus on public procurement work. You may not have been given the opportunity to do any public procurement work at your current firm or place of work but (if this is the case) you should have strong general commercial contracts experience and an interest in acting for public sector clients and/or procurement. Any experience in subsidy control would be an advantage.

You will be acting for public sector and government departments and agencies and providing advice on strategy and UK/EU procurement matters as well as drafting documentation. You will need to be confident and able to work independently on some matters but there is lots of support and supervision available. Depending on your level, you could also be responsible for supervising an NQ solicitor in the team.

This role is very flexible regarding location and the team generally work very flexibly. You could be office-based in one of the firm’s offices or work mostly remote with occasional office attendance or something in-between.

Excellent salary and benefits are on offer for this position.
